Go to Profile ? Edit Profile and set your timezone. Scheduled posts use this timezone. See the Account Settings guide.

Use the author switcher in the top navbar. Books, content, and social connections are scoped to the selected author. See the Managing Authors guide.

Use .docx (Word) when possible for best analysis. ePub also works well. Use PDF only if you do not have Word or ePub — scanned PDFs often fail. Text books need more than 500 words of readable text.

Large manuscripts can take 10–20 minutes to analyze in the background. You can leave the page and check status on the book details page. Analysis requires an AI key and sufficient readable text.

Common causes: invalid or expired API key, insufficient provider credits, or no API key configured. Test your key on the API Keys page and ensure billing is active at OpenAI or Anthropic.

Content types X, Medium, Reddit, Substack, and Newsletter are copy-only. The app generates text for you to copy and publish manually on those platforms. They do not support Post Now or Schedule.

Launch Calendar generates a 7- or 14-day content plan for a book launch — one post per day across selected platforms. Requires the Content Calendar Blueprint tier feature.

Follow Start Here: (1) Set up AI key, (2) Add author and upload book, (3) Connect social accounts on Set Up, (4) Generate content. See the Getting Started guide for details.

Meta requires Instagram Business or Creator accounts linked to a Facebook Page for API posting. This is a Meta policy, not an app limitation. Convert your account in Instagram settings before connecting.

On Set Up, click Connect Self-Hosted WordPress. Your site must use HTTPS. Create an Application Password in WordPress (Users ? Profile ? Application Passwords) and enter your site URL, username, and password.

TikTok, Substack, and Medium connections are temporarily hidden from the Set Up page while integration issues are resolved. Other platforms remain available.

Substack email publishing always sends posts to drafts. You must log in to Substack and publish manually. Alternatively, generate Substack content as copy-only and paste into the editor.

Bulk scheduling and Calendar View require the Advanced Scheduling tier feature. All users can still view scheduled posts at Content ? Scheduled. Upgrade via Upsells if needed.

Go to Content ? Scheduled in the sidebar. You can filter by platform, reschedule, post now, retry failed posts, and view past posts from the last 90 days.

Scheduled — accepted by the platform; for Outstand platforms it may stay Scheduled until publish time. Processing — posting right now. Posted — live on the platform. Failed — an error occurred; read the message and use Retry. See the Scheduling Posts guide for details.

Selections on Generated Content are now saved as you browse pages. A banner shows how many items are selected across pages. Use Schedule Selected when ready, or Schedule All Drafts to include every draft for the current author.

Check calendar filters (month, author, book, platform). Failed posts appear in red. Confirm the correct author is selected. After bulk scheduling, review the results summary on Content ? Scheduled.

Schedule All Drafts loads every draft for the current author, not just the 20 items visible on the current page. To pick specific items, use checkboxes across pages and click Schedule Selected.

No. Sub-users only see sidebar areas you grant when inviting them, and only for assigned authors. Configure permissions on the Team invite form.
